Wrong way crash kills 35-year-old woman in Atlantic County

ATLANTIC COUNTY, NJ – A 35-year-old woman died after a wrong-way crash with a truck in Hammonton on Tuesday afternoon, according to Nj.com.

The woman was driving west on South Egg Harbor Road in the area of Park Avenue at about 5 p.m. when she crossed into the eastbound lanes. An oncoming commercial truck struck her vehicle.

Dana Kaufman was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was a 66-year-old man from Galloway Township. It is unclear at this time if he was able to walk away for the crash.

Atlantic County officials are continuing an investigation into the fatal accident.
