ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A 70-year-old Caldwell woman died Monday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash in northwest Roseland, according to local media.
Essex County officials said the fatal accident occurred near 101 Eisenhower Parkway, east of Interstate 280. Roseland Police and other area agencies responded to the scene at around 12:11 p.m.
The circumstances of the wreck remain unclear at this time, but the Caldwell woman, who was one of the involved drivers, was rushed to Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. She was later pronounced deceased.
No information on the other driver or other potential injuries has been shared.
As of this writing, no pending charges have been reported.
The Essex County Prosecutor’s Crime Scene Investigations Bureau (CSIB) is handling the case.
