JERSEY CITY, NJ- A police officer in Jersey City was struck by a vehicle and hospitalized on Monday night, according to local media sources.

At approximately 8:30pm, an on-duty police officer in Jersey City was struck near the 3456 John F Kennedy Boulevard area. The officer was hospitalized shortly after. The vehicle remained at the scene of the accident.
