Update: Officials Identify Victim of Monday Accident

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – The victim of a single-vehicle accident on Monday has been identified by police.

NJ.com reported that Dontai Garner, 25, was traveling southbound when his vehicle left the road and ran into trees next to the road. The accident took place at milepost 40 near Hanover on Interstate 278 at about 8 p.m.

Garner died of his injuries at the local hospital where he had been transported following the accident.

There were two other occupants in the car who suffered injuries but they were not thought to be life-threatening.
