Serious injuries reported from Route 3 crash in Clifton

CLIFTON, NJ – Two people suffered serious injuries from a car accident on Route 3 in Clifton on Saturday evening, according to RLS Media.

A vehicle was eastbound on Route 3 before it crashed near Broad Street at about 7:05 p.m.

Two people were ejected from the car when it crashed and the vehicle was badly damaged.

The victims were taken to a local hospital where they were listed in serious condition.

Two lanes were closed while investigators worked at the scene.

The cause of the accident has yet to be determined by the investigation.
