Secaucus Police Chase Driver in Stolen Car

SECAUCUS, NJ – A Secaucus police officer pursued a driver after seeing them drive recklessly on Secaucus Road on May 15, sources report.

The vehicle did not pull over and a vehicle pursuit was conducted, but the officer lost sight of the car.

The vehicle was determined stolen when found in the area of County Avenue and Paterson Plank Road.

Authorities arrested Carlos Cruz, 19, of West New York for stealing and eluding police.

Cruz was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
