PORT REPUBLIC CITY, NJ (ATLANTIC COUNTY) – A woman from Seaside Park was killed in an early-morning crash on the Garden State Parkway today, according to information from NJ.com.
The crash happened at around 12:30 a.m. in Port Republic City on the northbound Garden State Pkwy, near mile marker 45, when driver Carrie Ann Orlando drove off the side of the roadway.
There, Orlando, a 53-year-old resident of Seaside Park, struck a guardrail. She was then ejected from her vehicle.
Orlando was pronounced dead after the accident.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
