MARLBORO, NJ — A New Jersey motorcyclist killed when he collided with a car has been identified by police, NJ.com reported.
The crash happened shortly after 4 p.m. Sunday on Tennent Road between Wooleytown Road and Greenwood Road in Marlboro.
Police identified the motorcyclist as 34-year-old Neal Haynes of Marlboro. He was pronounced dead at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Marlboro police say the 17-year-old driver of the car involved in the crash has not been charged at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
Haynes went to Marlboro High School, where he starred in football, and went on to play football at Monmouth University.
A friend said Haynes had been an employee at Macy’s flagship store in Manhattan until being furloughed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Funeral services will be held Saturday in Marlboro.
