GLOUCESTER COUNTY, NJ – A 54-year-old pedestrian was fatally hit by a car in Monroe Township in the early morning hours of September 7th.
NJ.com reported that Richard Shepherd was struck by a 1999 Acura on southbound Black Horse Pike near Grandview Avenue at about 2:30 a.m.
The 56-year-old driver of the Acura remained on the scene and cooperated with authorities. He was uninjured.
No charges have been filed as of yet. The accident remains under investigation.
