Pedestrian Fatally Injured in Union Township Intersection

UNION TOWNSHIP, NJ- A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed near North Avenue in Union Township Monday evening, according to local media sources.

The crash was reported at 5:30pm in the intersection of North Avenue and Morris Avenue. Officials arrived to the scene after reports of a critically injured pedestrian in the roadway. The victim was transported to an area hospital, but was pronounced dead later that night.
