Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Vehicle in Early-Morning Crash

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – A pedestrian was fatally hit by a vehicle on Route 18 in East Brunswick early this morning, according to local news sources.

The collision occurred on NJ-18, near Lake Avenue, at about 3:30 a.m., when a vehicle collided with a pole and a pedestrian.

Authorities administered CPR at the scene, then transported the victim to the hospital. There, the victim, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead.
