One Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash in Closter

CLOSTER, NJ- A driver was killed early Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash on Piermont Road in Closter, according to Daily Voice.

At approximately 4:46am, the driver’s 2018 Mercedes GME hit a tree and a telephone pole, rolling over. The accident happened on Piermont Road, near its intersection with Alpine Drive. Officials arrived at the scene of the crash and freed the pinned driver from underneath the vehicle. However, after transporting the victim to Pascack Valley Medical Center, the driver was declared dead shortly after due to accident related injuries.
