Officer flown to hospital after head-on collision in Sussex County

SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ – A police officer was rushed to a hospital for injuries after being involved in a collision in Frankford Tuesday afternoon, reports the Daily Voice.

The head-on crash happened near Stempert Road and Morris Turnpike. It’s not yet clear whether the victim was a pedestrian or driver involved in the accident.

The trooper was flown to a nearby hospital via helicopter.
