Motorcyclist seriously injured in Hamilton collision with SUV

HAMILTON, NJ – A man on a motorcycle sustained serious injuries after colliding with an SUV in Hamilton Tuesday afternoon.

The collision happened around 12 p.m. at the intersection of South Broad Street and Gropp Avenue, according to the Daily Voice.

The man was operating a 2004 Suzuki GSX motorcycle westbound on Broad Street when he attempted to pass a Mitsubishi Outlander. At the same time, the driver in the Outlander turned right onto Gropp Avenue and the bike crashed into the passenger side of the SUV.

The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. The SUV’s driver refused treatment at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
