Man Killed After Home in Buena Vista Twp Catches Fire

BUENA VISTA TOWNSHIP, NJ (ATLANTIC COUNTY) – A man was killed after his home caught fire in Buena Vista Township on Friday night, according to NJ.com.

The fire began at a house on Unexpected Road at about 10:35 p.m.

The victim, 35-year-old Eric Spellman, was taken from his home as it burned, and was then taken to the hospital. There, he was later pronounced dead.

No other victims were reported in the fire.

The fire is believed to have been an accident, though authorities are continuing to investigate the blaze.
