ESSEX COUNTY, NJ – A man was seriously injured after falling from an overpass onto the Garden State Parkway on Thursday afternoon.
Daily Voice reported that the man—whose identity has not been released—fell from the Watchung Avenue overpass into the center lane of the roadway in Bloomfield, near milepost 152, at about 3:15 p.m.
The 50-year-old man was transported to the University Hospital in Newark where he was in stable condition despite serious injuries.
The details surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
