Authorities say the crash took place just after 11:00 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Route 17, near the border of Paramus and Rochelle Park. An International tractor-trailer was positioned in the left lane travelling into Rochelle Park when the vehicle was swiped by another tractor-trailer in the right lane. The collision caused the International tractor-trailer to to strike the median before rolling over onto its side and hitting a saddle tank.
The unidentified 41-year-old driver of the International tractor-trailer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the other tractor-trailer involved was not injured in the collision.
