Father and 2 kids struck by DWI driver on way to school

UPPER SADDLE RIVER, NJ – A man and his children were hit while driving on West Saddle River Road Thursday morning, reports the Daily Voice.

The man was taking his kids to school when a woman slammed into his SUV at West Saddle River Road just south of Holly Drive.

The woman had heroin in her possession. She was charged with three counts of assault and various drug charges. She also received a summons for DWI.

The father and two children were all taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
