HOBOKEN, NJ – An ex-convict caused an accident that injured six people on the northbound New Jersey Turnpike in Bergen County, according to Daily Voice.
The accident took place on early Tuesday morning when Lonnie Clark collided his Honda Civic with a Chevrolet SUV carrying a family. Clark was driving under the influence at the time..
The occupants of the SUV are thought to be a family from Florida. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Their wounds were not life-threatening.
Clark’s previous convictions included lewdness, weapons charges, and selling drugs. Following Tuesday’s accident, he was charged with six accounts of vehicular assault, DUI, hindering and obstruction.
