Crash Causes Closures on Route 36 at Route 71

WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ- Route 36 northbound roads in the area of Route 71 were closed after a collision and a downed traffic signal on Tuesday, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

Officials reported the incident at approximately 6:57 am. The collision caused a traffic signal to fall, resulting in closures on both Route 36 and Route 71.
