Car crashes with NJ Transit train in Jersey City

JERSEY CITY, NJ – According to Daily Voice, commuter train travel in the Jersey City area was delayed after a car hit a train on Tuesday evening.

The car struck a Hudson-Bergen Light Rail train near Harsimus Cove at about 8:15 p.m. causing a suspension in service in the line Tuesday evening.

Other trains were delayed about 20 minutes because of the incident.
