EDISON TOWNSHIP, NJ – One person was killed in a car and tractor-trailer accident on Route 440 in Edison Township on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Daily Voice, the accident between two tractor-trailers and an SUV was in the northbound lanes near Woodbridge Avenue just before 5 p.m.
Officials confirmed one fatality in the accident. However, further information about the victim or other injuries in the accident has not been released.
All northbound lanes were closed in the area for a time on Tuesday night. A HAZMAT team was also called to the scene to address a fuel spill.
