34-year-old killed in single-vehicle crash in Wanaque

PASSAIC County, NJ – A 34-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 287 in Passaic County on Tuesday night, according to NJ.com.

The Bethlehem, Pennsylvania man was driving north on the interstate in Wanaque near milepost 56. His car went off the road, through the guardrail, and overturned. The overturned vehicle had caught fire and burned until it was engulfed in flames.

The only occupant of the vehicle, Syed Hassan, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating the factors in the crash.
