HACKENSACK, NJ – A 27-year-old man is in intensive care after being struck by a hit-and-run driver early this morning in Hackensack. According to the Daily Voice, a witness found the victim in the southbound lane of Polifly Road near Sutton Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. Unfortunately, the witness did not see the vehicle that hit the injured man.
Emergency responders on the scene transported the victim to Hackensack University Medical Center where he is being treated for critical injuries. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Fatal Accident Investigations Unit is heading up the investigation and asks anyone with information to please contact them at (201) 226-5595.
