27-year-old man sentenced for last year’s hit-and-run accident

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ – According to the Daily Voice, 27-year-old Daquan White  was sentenced to 8 years in prison for a hit-and-run accident last year in New Brunswick.

On December 3rd, 2019, White was driving a 2001 white Acura Coupe a little after midnight. As he was traveling on Livingston Avenue, he struck 22-year-old Anthony Cruz-Medina as he was walking near Baldwin Street. White then fled the scene.

Cruz-Medina died from the impact.
