EASTHAMPTON, NJ – NJ.com reports that a two-vehicle crash left one person dead and two others injured in Easthampton on Thursday.
The head-on collision took place around 6:00 p.m. on Route 537, between Woodlane Road and Smithville Road. Authorities say a 52-year-old woman was driving a 1977 Corvette veered into oncoming traffic on Route 537, and crashed into a 76-year-old man driving an SUV.
The 76-year-old man was killed in the impact, while another passenger in the SUV and the driver of the Corvette both sustained serious injuries.
Police continue to investigate this incident.
