  • #12: A NJ Transit bus driver in Bergen County suffered spinal injuries when his bus was struck from behind and agreed on September 19, 2019 to a $2.25 million settlement. The bus driver stopped to allow passengers to board on Eastbound Route 46 when the back of the bus was struck on June 22, 2017, further aggravating a previous injury.  On the case were Brach Eichler Personal Injury Chair Edward Capozzi and Associate Corey Dietz.
  • #13: An elevator mechanic employed by Slade Elevator, Inc. was killed while inspecting an elevator in the Galaxy Towers located in Guttenberg, New Jersey.  This wrongful death case was settled on December 2,  2019 for $2.15 million.  Edward Capozzi and Corey Dietz represented the mechanic’s family.
  • #34: A Bergen County resident suffered a traumatic brain injury in addition to neck injuries as a result of a collision which occurred on January 3, 2018. The driver that caused the collision had a blood alcohol content of .187%  after being served at a local establishment located in Maywood, New Jersey. The Bergen County man agreed to a $1.075 million settlement.  Edward Capozzi and Corey Dietz negotiated this matter on behalf of the accident victim.
  • #36: The plaintiff was a passenger in a vehicle that was T-boned and she sustained an aggravation of a pre-existing spinal condition that required cervical fusion surgery. MRIs taken after the incident were identical to MRIs taken before the incident but Associate Alex Capozzi was able to establish that the crash exacerbated her symptoms and necessitated the need for the surgery. The case settled for $1 million just before trial.
