HOBOKEN, NJ – A reckless driver crashed into three other vehicles on Tuesday morning, according to sources.
Lt. James Peck was patrolling the area of 400 Newark St. around 12:58 a.m. when he witnessed a red cadillac speeding eastbound.
The driver was speeding the wrong way on a one-way street and then caused an accident in the area of 256 Newark St. after crossing Willow Avenue.
Police officers arrived to the scene and assisted the driver out from the vehicle. The driver was transported to Jersey City Medical Center and treated by the Hoboken Ambulance Corporation.
The driver, who has not been identified, was issued two motor vehicle summonses including reckless driving and wrong way on a one-way.
A warrant was issued for the drivers blood for testing.
