LONGPORT, NJ – A woman was struck and killed by a driver in South Jersey on Sunday. According to ABC 6 Action News, the accident occurred at 1:30 p.m. at the 3200 block of Pacific Avenue in Longport. The victim was identified as 85-year-old Lillian Meyers, of Stratford. The driver, an 86-year-old man from Blackwood, was driving a black Ford F-150 when he backed into the victim. She was pronounced dead shortly after the crash.
