MORRIS COUNTY, NJ – A New Jersey Transit train struck and killed a female pedestrian in Madison in the afternoon on Monday, according to NJ.com.
The woman was struck by a train on the Morris & Essex Line at the Madison Station at about 4:15 p.m. The train had been Dover-bound when the accident happened.
The identity of the woman has not been released.
The New Jersey Transit Police are conducting an investigation.
Delays of about 15 minutes were reported after the accident.
