PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ – A woman was injured when a large tree uprooted onto the vehicle she was occupying in Paterson on Monday afternoon.
According to RLS Media, the woman was in her vehicle near the corner of Washington Street and Fair Street when the incident happened at about 4 p.m. A strong gust of wind upturned the tree, roots and all, onto the vehicle.
The woman was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital. Her injuries were not considered life-threatening.
