NEWARK, NJ – According to sources, a woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident early Tuesday morning.
The accident happened at the intersection of Bergen Street and 16th Avenue at approximately 2:08 a.m.
Authorities rushed to the scene and found a woman trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Newark firefighters were able to extricate the woman and transport her to University Hospital for treatment of non-threatening injuries.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
