EAST WINDSOR, NJ – A woman was hospitalized and multiple people were displaced from their homes following a house fire in East Windsor this afternoon, according to NJ.com.
The incident happened at a residence on Bennington Drive, east of Lake Drive, at around 2 p.m., and the fire soon involved all levels of the home.
A resident of the home was rescued from the burning structure by a neighbor. She was then airlifted to the hospital in Livingston for the treatment of critical injuries.
Two other nearby homes sustained damage in the blaze. Multiple people were displaced after the homes were deemed unfit for habitation.
The fire remains under investigation at this time.
