PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A 65-year-old woman died Sunday morning after a single-vehicle accident in south West Milford, according to local media.
The fatal crash happened near Otterhole Road on December 18, at about 10:30 a.m.
Few details have been shared at this time, but West Milford Police said the woman was driving a Jeep Wrangle that collided with a mailbox and then a utility pole.
The female driver and sole occupant died from her injuries at the scene, confirmed authorities. No other vehicles were involved, and no other injuries were reported.
Passaic County authorities continue to investigate.
