DUMONT, NJ – A woman was killed when she was struck by a CSX freight train in Dumont this morning, according to information from the Daily Voice.
The collision happened near New Milford Avenue and West Shore Avenue at about 10 a.m., when a woman, who was identified only as a person wearing a pink sweater, was struck by a CSX freight train headed southbound.
The victim died at the scene.
