HILLSIDE, NJ – A driver escaped a car wreck with a cement barrier on Route 22 in Hillside without serious injuries on Wednesday morning, according to RLS Media.
A woman was lost control of her Black Acura in the 600 block of Route 22 just after 11:30 a.m. She crashed into the concrete barrier that divides the highway and the driver side of the vehicle ended up elevated on the barrier, leaving the car tilted.
The driver was not seriously injured in the crash.
There were some delays in the area on Wednesday morning due to the accident but no other vehicles were involved.
