HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ – A Guttenberg woman has been charged for drunk driving after rear-ending a vehicle in Hasbrouck Heights on Sunday.
According to a local news source, 24-year-old Kimberly Monroe was northbound on Route 17 in her Acura when she crashed into the back of a Subaru a little after midnight.
The 54-year-old Westwood driver of the Subaru complained of back pain because of the accident but refused treatment.
Monroe is facing charges of property damage, DWI, and careless driving. At the scene, she refused to take a breathalyzer test, for which she is also being charged.
