ATLANTIC COUNTY, NJ – A woman was arrested Wednesday after returning to the scene of a hit-and-run in which she struck a pedestrian.
According to Daily Voice, 28-year-old Shelby Frasier struck a 16-year-old pedestrian in the 200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on Tuesday a few minutes before midnight. The female victim was found by a local police officer. She was seriously hurt.
Frasier returned to the scene about three hours later and was arrested. She was released on a summons after being charged with assault by auto, leaving the scene of an accident that caused injury, among other things.
The teenager underwent surgery from injuries from the crash.
