EAGLESWOOD TOWNSHIP, NJ (OCEAN COUNTY) – A West Creek man died Sunday after being thrown from a jet ski at an Ocean County quarry, according to NJ.com.
The accident happened at the Sahara Sands Quarry sometime before 2:30 p.m., when authorities were called to investigate the missing jet ski rider.
According to an initial investigation, the victim, 49-year-old Salvatore Cusimano, was ejected from the craft and thrown into the water.
He did not resurface.
The circumstances that led to the accident has not been made available at this time.
No other injuries were reported.
