HARRISON, NJ – A vehicle caught fire on Interstate 280 in Harrison on Monday afternoon, according to the New Jersey traffic incident tracker.
The unknown vehicle was reported burning on Interstate 280 westbound in the area east of Exit 16 for Essex Street.
The two righthand lanes were closed as emergency crews worked to secure the scene and knock back the flames.
The fire was quickly resolved and the scene cleared however drivers in the area continued to experienced delays of up to ten minutes.
At this time, no injuries have been reported.
