HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (MERCER COUNTY) – Authorities have released the identity of the victim of yesterday’s fatal truck accident in Mercer County.
This is an update to a previous news story.
According to the Daily Voice, the victim is 26-year-old Nate King, who was a former basketball and track star at Trenton Catholic Academy.
The crash happened at about 4:45 a.m. on I-295, near milepost 58, when a Hyundai Santa Fe collided with the back of a tractor-trailer that had become disabled.
King was trapped within the wreckage and died at the scene.
Authorities closed the right two lanes of I-295 for over four hours as they worked the crash. Their investigation continues at this time.
