LINDEN, NJ- The individual who was struck and trapped underneath a vehicle in Linden died from their injuries on Thursday night, according to local media sources.
On Wednesday, the unidentified man was crossing East Elizabeth Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle and pinned underneath.
Workers nearby freed the victim, and officials transported him to University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.
It is unclear if any charges will be filed against the driver involved in the fatal collision.
