BERGEN COUNTY, NJ – An 18-year-old drunk driver injured two people after crashing head-on into their car in Bergen County last weekend, according to Nj.com.
Nube Guzman-Picon was driving her Nissan Altima west in the eastbound lanes on Route 3 near the Berry’s Creek bridge at about 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 28. Guzman-Picon crashed head-on into another Nissan Altima.
Guzman-Picon’s 18-year-old passenger and the 43-year-old driver of the other vehicle were taken to Hackensack University Medical Center for serious injuries. They are now listed in stable condition.
Guzman-Picon was also taken to the hospital but it is unclear if she sustained injuries.
She has been charged with assault by auto and received summonses for her other violations.
The accident remains under investigation.
