MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ – A two-vehicle collision on Interstate 195 killed one person on Wednesday morning, according to Daily Voice.
The accident happened at about 6:45 a.m. near in I-195 in Jackson Township in the area of Six Flags Great Adventure. The crash was in the westbound lanes near Route 537.
A New Jersey State Trooper confirmed that one person died in the accident. The identity of the victim has not been released.
The westbound lanes of I-195 were closed on Wednesday morning from Exit 16 in Jackson Township through Exit 11 in Upper Freehold as police investigated the accident.
