MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ – Two young Spotswood men lost their lives in a single-vehicle accident on Route 9 in Manalapan Township on Saturday night.
According to Nj.com, 20-year-old Jonathan Ramirez lost control of a 2004 Infiniti G35 on Route 9 at about 9:30 p.m. The sportscar struck the curb, then the guardrail and a utility pole, before coming to rest in the woods near the road.
The passenger, 20-year-old Justin Rochford, was pronounced dead at the scene. Ramirez was transported to a local hospital and later died.
The accident is still under investigation.
