LITTLE EGG HARBOR, NJ – Two minors were injured Saturday night when a sedan crossed the center line and collided with their vehicle head-on, NJ Advance Media reports.
The collision happened at about 9:30 p.m. on January 30. The two victims were headed south on Radio Road in a 2006 Toyota XB which one of them was driving, when the driver of a northbound Hyundai Elantra lost control in a curve near Baltusrol Court and collided with the Toyota.
The two minors were airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in critical condition, where they remained as of Sunday night.
The driver of the Elantra, a 26-year-old Manahawkin man, was taken by helicopter to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center Trauma Center. He has since been released, and has since been issued summonses for reckless driving and failure to maintain lane.
