GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ (ATLANTIC COUNTY) – Two men were injured when a pickup truck collided with an 18-wheeler truck Thursday afternoon in Atlantic County.

The accident happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Mannheim Avenue and Duerer Street, reports The Press of Atlantic City.

The driver of a 1999 Ford Ranger, 20-year-old Kyle Coble, of Absecon, collided with a 2016 Freightliner.

The Freightliner’s driver, 59-year-old Wayne Longo of Audobon, was mildly injured in the accident. Coble, however, sustained more serious injuries.

The intersection was closed for several hours due to the investigation of the accident, which continues at this time.
