LINDEN, NJ- Two people were killed and three were injured in a three-car collision on Route 1 in Linden that occurred on Tuesday night, according to NJ.com.
At approximately 11:30pm, a car heading north on Route 1 struck a car making a U-turn from I-278, which then struck an SUV. The car then went off the roadway. The driver and the passenger in the car making the U-turn were pronounced dead at the scene, whereas two passengers in the car on Route 1 and the SUV driver were transported to University Hospital in Newark with non life-threatening injuries.
