According to Nj.com, a 64-year-old man was behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Passat with his 58-year-old male passenger driving south on Goffle Hill Road. The vehicle crashed through the wall of the basement at about 3:20 p.m. The badly damaged vehicle was almost all the way inside the house.
The driver and the passenger were transported to a local hospital. The house was occupied at the time of the crash, but no one inside the home was hurt.
The cause of the accident has not been released.
