MIDDLESEX, NJ – Following a crash last month that took the life of a 19-year-old woman, North Brunswick Police arrested two men for driving under the influence.
The crash happened on May 24th at 4:11 a.m. on Route 1 southbound, near the Walmart. Rashawn Stevens, 33, was driving southbound when he struck the car of 19-year-old Felicity Eden. Garry Givens-Owens, 28, then hit first Steven’s vehicle and then Eden’s.
Eden was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a news report, Police arrested Stevens on Friday, and Givens-Owens on Thursday. They are charged with third-degree homicide while driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
They are both being held in the Middlesex County Jail.
